Web-based 3D Remote Collaboration Environment
A 3D remote collaborative web-based environment using OpenUSD and NVIDIA Omniverse was created for designers and engineers at Railbotic Systems to simulate the product in realistic environment during product design stage. This enabled designers and engineers to foresee any key problems that their designs would run into once the product was built.

Integration of Digital Twin with Inspection System
nAurava is working with their partner Floodlight Software to integrate immersive 3D visualizations of digital twins of assets as part of their inspection workflow. Such a Remote Inspection application developed using OpenUSD and NVIDIA Omniverse will enable inspectors to reach out to remote experts and make rapid decisions.

Digital Twin To Enable Rapid Decision Making During Fabrication
nAurava is currently engaged in researching how prototype digital twins can be used to mitigate fabrication challenges of complex industrial assets. Such digital twins developed using OpenUSD and NVIDIA Omniverse and AI will capture the fabrication data during the process and compare it to CAD of the asset and highlight any anomalies, thereby the problem can be addressed in a timely manner before the entire asset is built. Such systems will minimize the costs and delays to the project.

Integration of NDE corrosion data with Digital Twin
nAurava in collaboration with their partner IQS NDT, developed digital twin of a Oil & Gas recovery column asset using OpenUSD and NVIDIA Omniverse to visualize internal corrosion. The internal corrosion data is obtained by performing Ultrasound Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) inspection on the asset in the field.

3D Collaborative App for Safety Assessment
nAurava created a 3D collaborative web-based app using OpenUSD and NVIDIA Omniverse for SKInternational to assist with their product design and engineering process. The 3D collaborative tool is used to perform human safety simulation with the industrial equipment by designers, engineers and customer teams.

USAF SBIR Project to conduct feasibility study of AR/VR/XR
A proof-of-concept VR App was built using Unity 3D that can be used to train NDE inspectors as part of feasibility study. Our team conducted evaluation of Industry 4.0 technologies like AR, VR, XR and Digital Twins for NDE/NDT for training of NDE inspectors and to assist inspectors with critical information about an asset.
